Through a fun-filled evening of musical performances, creative exhibition and art activities, we will be celebrating the female voice - and raising money and awareness for good causes which help vulnerable women and girls across the world. Open to everyone in the Bootham Community of all genders, the event promises to be a joyous celebration.
The event starts at 7pm and will include:
- Performances from renowned performers The Barberellas and Union Jill
- Tote bag printing
- Mural making
- Local organisations including YorKits, The Hygiene Bank, and StrutSafe
- Jewellery from Earthycle
- An exhibition of creative responses from within the Bootham Community
- Delicious refreshments!
All money raised during this event will go to ActionAid, to help purchase sanitary products for women and girls in need across war torn countries like Gaza.
