This event is part of a series part of the BOOTHAM SCHOOL SOCIAL JUSTICE PROGRAMME 2018

The main event will begin at 7.00pm with a Welcome.
Peter Kurer will then discuss what the Quakers did for the Jews of Nazi Europe.
Kurt Strauss will then share his own experiences of leaving Nazi Germany in 1939 and starting a new life in a hostel run by Quakers.
This will then be followed by a Q&A session.
